All Trunks Busy (ATB)

Also known as All Lines Busy. This occurs when all trunks or lines are occupied or busy with a call in progress.

The call treatment for the caller is a busy tone or engaged tone.

ACDs can show realtime trunk activity and the number of lines in use. Lines can remain occupied following a call transfer and can be occupied through outbound calls.

Reports can show the number of busy calls received and the time intervals in which they were received.  It cannot show how many individual callers this represents as callers may make multiple attempts using a redial facility. A rule of thumb maybe a 5:1 ratio
